Manuscript (12 loose pages with no direct connection between each
other) containing music for lute solo, duets for two lutes and songs with lute
accompaniment. The manuscript was kept in the case with a Swedish lute made by
Johan Jerner in 1817, which also is kept in the Kalmar County Museum with the
same inventory number as the manuscript, that is 14.062. In notices left to the
Stockholm Music Museum it is said: "Has probably belonged to the father of
old wholesale dealer J.A. Bruun, born 1781. (Music that has belonged to
him is now owned by the cashier Johan Bruun) In the box Diverse
Manuscripts."
Provenance: Sweden.
Dating: C. 1817-1830.
