Manuscript (2, 2 fol)
containing music for flute and guitar . Contemporary covers. Title:
The composer is Paul Sandrini (1782-1813) and this is certainly a copy of a
printed work as even a plate number, 481, is given on each page. This is a more
elaborate version of the same work published in Prag | In der Franz
Haasischen Buch- und Musikalien-Handlung, | Altstadt in der
Jesuitengasse im Nehrischen Haus No. 496 with plate number 5. The only copy (which
lacks the flute part) of this print seem to be in Prague, Národní muzeum - České
muzeum hudby, hudebně-historické oddělení
(CZ-Pnm) XLII A 264. The provenance of this copy is
Christian-Philipp Clam-Gallas, Frýdlant. The guitar part in the manuscript
differ in some instances from the printed edition and is more elaborate. The
different platenumber given in the manuscript suggests that the music also was
printed in a later edition, which still remains unidentified. A
possible publisher is Friedrich Hofmeister, Leipzig (Zuth, p. 141).
Provenance:
"[Anton von] Golling". Acquired from Musikantiquariat Dr. Ulrich
Drüner in 1999.

c. 1810-1820.

/ im Michaelerhaus No. 1221, PN 202 [1815-1820]. The

enough this work is not listed by Weinmann.

IPH Information 2/1983, p. 81. Fellows was the name of
three papermakers mentioned in A.H. Shorter. 1957. Paper Mills and Paper Makers in England 1495-1800, pp. 140, 142,
182, 262. Their forenames were James, John and William, and they had paper
mills in Buckinghamshire and Kent. The watermark, with the year 1808, would be
quite consistent with use in say 1810-1815. This information was kindly
supplied by Russell Jones and Albert Elen.

Manuscript (2 fol)
containing music for solo guitar. Title: "2 Walzer /
für / die Guitarre / von / A. Breine".
Provenance:
Germany, probably owned by Caroline von Gagern c. 1820 as it was inserted in
music once owned by her. About the family von Gagern the following
information has been gathered: "Die
